Don't be too cross with me, mon cœur. The cut is only lethal if too much time passes, and Mr. Bright is in good hands with you.

I'm not cross with you, mon doudou. Whatever misgivings you had were no doubt erased by our visitors. I cannot fault you for ignoring the consequences they will not let you concern yourself with. Just as I'm sure Mr. Bright hardly considered the potential consequences of touching you.
