— FIRST IMPRESSIONS —

APPEARANCE Johnny is a tall, dark haired man who tends to prefer at least some portion of a beard. His hair is generally longer on top and tight on the sides. His eyes are a clear and pale blue green, almost like sea-glass, and he has a prominent scar over his nose and under his left eye from the war; the nose has clearly been broken a time or two. He is on the thinner side, but still quite solid and will always be relatively well kept in whatever clothes he happens to wear.

CLOTHING When he can be, he'll be neat and well-groomed, in a suit in dark and red.

DEMEANOR Jon was raised upper class in the West End of London during the beginning of the 20th century; as such, he's exceptionally formal and polite, though he can come off a little stuffy. He tends to keep a pretty decent personal space bubble unless he's familiar with you, and then he can be very apt to reach out. He's extremely educated in a number of subjects and delights in exploring them, happy to share his experiences and acting as authority really only in the case of medicine as it is his chosen specialty. He has no trouble in speaking his mind or in airing his emotions, and he makes no bones about his displeasure similarly if someone has called it down upon themselves. Depending on the need, he will air his disapproval gently or more firmly, but air it he will as he is no pushover despite his manners. He tends towards being more poetic and even a little dramatic at times, when he's moved to, and he enjoys referencing legend and myth and history liberally when he speaks. And yes, he can certainly be indelicate and even a little cruel if he is frustrated with someone who isn't seeing sense. Everyone's got flaws.

AURAL Reid has a deep, pleasant voice with an upper-crust British accent. His voice is warm more often than not, and can be a little sharp at times, and he very rarely shouts.

DOCTOR Reid isn't just a doctor; he's a renowned doctor, well known for pioneering blood transfusion techniques and well-decorated from his service in France at the front during the Great War, where he served in the trenches as an RMO. With an audience or under fire, you'll not meet a better doctor.

EKON Reid is a vampire, making him effectively immortal. It also means he can turn others with his blood, that he can mesmerize people, has great physical strength and speed, enhanced senses, the ability to diagnose patients at a glance, the ability to take information from blood he drinks, and the ability to hear the last thoughts of anyone he drinks to death (though he has not done that since the very first time). He can also manifest physical weapons on himself, specifically fangs and claws that he can hide normally.

BLOOD Reid has the ability to manipulate blood, his own and others. He can make his own blood into weapons such as a spear and fling it at people, create a shield for himself to take damage, freeze the blood in someone's veins to hold them in place, or even boil it until it violently explodes out of them. He can also smell and see blood with much greater accuracy than most and detect people through walls and at a distance by their blood and heartbeat.

SHADOW Reid can utilize shadows as weapons, using them to attack people in great plumes of explosive shadow, hiding in them such that he is invisible, or traveling through them like a short-range teleport.
